if the game had a launcher with reset setting button it would be easy but no.
(as reinstall often leaves the registry as it is)

look in registy for Screenmanager Is Fullscreen (set it to 1), resolution Height and Width. (set it to your screen resolution in Hex)
No luck :/
My registry was messed up (had 0 for width and height) but putting in the correct values didn't fix it :/
Do you have any other ideas?
Right? Other games like Cities Skylines is also a black screen for me.
Could you post the instructions for the Control Panel tweak?
Anybody have a fix for this?
Display > Adjust desktop size and position
Scaling tab > Select a scaling mode
Choose "No scaling" and click "Apply"
Try to launch a Unity game that wasn't working.
For me, this fixed the issue for other Unity games. For ONI, it's like it tries to work, but I get a black screen instead the "minimized" look.
I was able to switch the scaling setting back to "Aspect ratio" after I tried this and the other Unity games are still fixed, but not ONI.
Okay awesome! Lemme try this!
If the above fix doesn't work, could you post how to roll back? Is it just in the updates menu?
