natural gas generator issues
hi. im trying to run 3 natural gas generators from the same pump. when i had 2 it was working fine but when i added the third 2 of them stoped pumping and is now idle. they are still full of gas and there's plenty of gas in the pipe and the "exhaust" is almost empty and wires are connected. i even connected heavy watt wires but i have no idea why they are idle. suggestions? i have a pic but no idea how to link :P

input and output logic do not necessarely like/dislike pipe node over them for multi feeding/output

speaking of natural gas generator while the feeding is oki like this, for the output it stuck so

try to decal the main output pipe line one tiles up or down and connect each output to the said pipeline, should fix your stuck issue

(having a single pipe line passing over many gas generator output doesn't seem to work well)

Idle generators means you are using less pwr than the amt the those extra gas gen is producing so it is going on standby repeatily. You either need to turn them off due to them producing unecessary heat or increase your pwr consumption.

That's a good point. They don't like having one pipe going straight to all three generators. Try making one pipe going to your furthest gen then just drop braches off for the other two. Do the same thing for your outputs.

yup yup capt.phoenix, no issues feeding side with a straight lines, but that's not (always*) true for the output, output doesn't like it at all most of the time

* <= this might depend of some later intermediate valves or bridge and all that call after the feeding logic orientation with theirs own input as far as i have been able to observe,

sometime intermediate input/ouput from valve and bridge could either help or mess some pipes existing network orientation logic, when you add them later without paying attention

(because they send a request for feeding or refuse the feeding of a pipe segment, as:

the game logic is "input(s)" to "output(s)" segment refresh based to assign and dynamically re-assign the pipes flow orientation(s))

once you got used to it, it's even kinda handy if you want to force the flow orient in some un-natural and unexpected ways ^^ wich allow to do a few interesting thing as well
