I doubt Dragonball content would stop being a thing in the West though, it'd just be like Yakuza where the game was only VA'd in Japanese really, they'd cut Funi out of the deal with the games.
Then, 3-5 weeks from now, a new controversy will take its place and this will be forgotten.
Now, someone being falsely accused and losing their job over it (Vic) is something I'd take umbrage with.
GROW. THE. ♥♥♥♥. UP.
There are far more important things happening in the world right now. Everyone who makes a big deal out of this clearly shouldn't be allowed to comment on any social media site, mostly for a total lack of maturity and introspective.
That said, admittedly it's not as bad as the sexual harassment Vic Mignogna did, which most folks agree was terrible and was easily enough of a reason for him to be fired. (Not to mention, he's trying (and failing) to use the courts to intimidate/silence his accusers, which just adds to the scumminess. Unsurprising.)
Of course, no one really believes Funimation did that because it was the right thing to do. They did it because it was good publicity, which, this time, happened to also be the right thing to do (kicking a serial harasser to the curb).
I guess whether these VAs get kicked will depend on how much Funimation believes incest 'jokes' and bigoted 'jokes' will affect business.
Simple as that.
I think the problem is how seriously people take a little banter these days.
I don't give a rat's ass about the dub or Vic or whatever his name was tho.
I don't want anyone fired. I just want the stupid culture war to stop. I don't think it's a coincidence that Funimation is making dumb descisions like this (And the infamous gamergate line in Prison School) ever since Gen Fukanaga stopped being in charge. But who knows?
Ultimately I don't care, nor do I think the cast members should be fired for making these jokes. They seem like good enough people, and I doubt any of them actually harbor any ill will against any group of people. But who knows honestly.
People who are upset by jokes need to grow up. Back when anyone could make a joke about literally anyone or anything people got along even better than they do today because we weren't being swallowed by a generation raised to have even skin even thinner than tissue paper.
The cult of SJW is destroying society with its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dogmatic stance on every aspect of society and requiring us to have to pass their purity test to be able to do so much as use a credit card to buy bread.
