Isn't it a part of this game series?
If so, what are the chances of it getting a steam release?

Trillion isnt a series but a standalone game. No idea about MeiQ or a steam release. If its not had a steam release yet its unlikely to get one now since its been 6 years since western release.

Very unfortunate MeiQ never got released on Steam and is still only on Vita despite them even getting it rated by the ESRB for a Windows PC release and then just doing nothing with it.

MeiQ looks interesting but I'd guess the current anti-ecchi climate that permeates steam's staff prevents it from getting released on steam.

When IFI updated their website, MeiQ's webpage had a "STEAM" listing under the platforms. Guessing a Steam release was planned and canned, is potentially on the way, or just a simple error.

Seeing as Steam banned Dungeon Travelers 2-2 and Chaos Head Noah (though they reverted it for the latter) and the news only got out because someone discovered it from steamdb it's highly possible the thing couldn't get passed greenlight. We live in an age where even a cleavage and bikini armor promo art of games made 20 years ago is considered offensive and needs to be censored, so this is not strange at all.
