Best endgame gear?

I've just recieved the mission to enter the Brain scorcher and was wondering if my gear will stand up to the monolith & any other dangers I may face?

The weapons I've been using are:
- GP37
- Combat chaser
- Bulldog 6

The artifacts I've been using:
- Urchin (radiation -30%, bleeding +100%)
- Soul (health +600%, impact, rupture & bulletproof cap -10%)
- Flash (endurance +73%, electric shock -10%)
- Mica (bleeding -400%, burn & chemical burn -10%)
- Battery (electric shock +30%)

My armour:
- SSp-99M

Why not the Moon-Artifact?
And why not istead Fireball or Crystall?
Moon is the better version of flash
and it cancels out the negatives of crystal/fireball
And toghetter theres no bleeding.

I would say see if you can find a ft-200m as it has bulit in scope and grenade launcher and has better stats than GP37. Also after brain scorcher I would recommend to get rid of the shotgun as there arent many mutants to fight afterwards. You will also find a bada** armor in the Pripyat hotel cache that provides protection of an exoskeleton but you can sprint.

I went in with Soul, 2 Flash, Mama's Beads, Urchin , a Stalker suit/SSP-99M and only armed with a standard TRs-301 and Big Ben. Did just fine :).

I personally never use the variant weapons like Combat Chaser or Big Ben asides from testing them out (hearing gun noises, seeing recoil, etc). My gear was the Bulat Suit and I had Soul, Urchin, Mica, and 2 Gravi. My guns were the Tunder S14 (with PSO scope) and I had a GP37. However on more recent playthroughs I went with a GP37 and a Vintar BC (for those annoying snipers). Armor was Exoskeleton but I did go with the SSP-99M twice (I never really liked it). If you didn't pick it up already, there's a free Vintar BC lying on the ground in the freedom base (in one of the buildings that have sleeping bags in it, the one nearest to the tunnel. It's on the ground in the back.) Lastly I always stuck with the Deagle for my sidearm (I forgot the name).

I went in with a "Tunder", a ft-200m and my armour was like the Military Stalker suit.

I heard there is a Stalker in the pig farm on the southern end of the Dark Valley who is selling a Gauss rifle, if your interested.

This has to be modded games. I've never even heard of some of that stuff in the Vanilla version. I've even checked the Wiki for it.

Hunter which items are you talking about? Most if not all of this stuff is in the vanilla game. I do have a few mods but none of them overhaul gameplay or add weapons or anything, just ZRP, graphical mods and sound overhaul.

Best gun is the Vintar-ss that is extremely hard to find in Shadow of Chernobyl for armor i was with the ecogolist suit(green one) but when you get near the monolith its better to have an exosuit.

Don't bother with a bulldog, however if you get Murks treasure stash you will get the FN2000 when you enter Red forest

I just recently ran into that stalker "selling the gauss rifle" at the pig farm - I gave him the money and he said "wait here while I go get it", and runs off into a building. I started to follow him and a couple of guys with him start shooting at me. I think it's a "sucker proposal" - "I'll give you a gauss rifle for 600 (or was it 800?) - now wait here while I run away to go get it for you!" - yeah right! I went back to a recent save and ignored his sales pitch the next time.
