Should i play 2009 complete mod first?
I just started playing stalker SOC a few days ago and i'm really enjoying it so far, but many people say i should download the 2009 complete mod before i start playing. Other say i shoul play through the game first. I dont know much about the mod, but should i install the mod first or not?

It's generally best to play the game without mods the first time. This makes it easier to apprecieate what the mods add when you go back and play them after. Complete has a number of changes that make the game easier in general so I don't really recommend it at all.

If u playing it first time, play original game.. Then u can install mods, etc..

I had to get the mod to get it to work with windows 8, it doesn't really change the game other then better graphics and fewer bugs

Complete mod changing only graphic (i guess :D) So if u want to play with better graphic then install it..

I played it the first and only time with Complete and it was great. As far as I understood there was only graphical and audio etc. enhancements. Great game any way!

If you want vanilla balance with bugfixes and graphical improvements, Complete 2009. If you want tweaked balance with new weapons, new ballistics, and specially tuned and crafted AI, LURK Mod. If you want to play a complete chugfest with every mod ever made sloppily thrown into one package, Oblivion Lost.

The Complete mod does have a few minor changes that do make the game slightly easier, but it's nothing big and a fairly good starting mod. If you've already played through the game, though, I wouldn't bother playing with Complete.

Play the original verison for all three.

I totally disagree, play with the Complete mod. There is little differance. The main game story is untouched, and you get fixes on some serious bugs, and better visuals. All in all, you get a FAR more enjoyabul experiance.

this game is cool either way with or without the mod :)
some might get sick looking at ur guy wiggling around when u run.. the complete mod 2009 removes that.. very happy over it.. made me puke

Looks like I'm outnumbered here but the last time I checked Complete mod gives you extra carry weight, more endurance, and makes enemies much less likely to spot you at distance which makes the combat much easier.

Either Zone Reclamation Project (just bug fixes) or Complete (gfx improvements / some relatively small gameplay changes and bug fixes). There's absolutely no reason whatsoever to play vanilla.

what broadsword says is real.. changes the weight to 60.. and they enemies are having a harder time to spot u.. dunno about the endurance.. :P anyways Gr8 mod
