Weird grass ANIMATION loop glitch
I'm having a problem, when the animation in grass seems to have a weird looping effect and stuttering, and seems to stutter for 5 seconds, this is not related by framerate, it isn't also random, the grass just stops having a smoth animation for some seconds each 30-40 seconds, maybe a bit more of time between stutters..

I have finished the game twice and I remember this bug, I don't know thou, how did I get rid of it (because I'm sure I did).

I hope someone can help me. Thanks.

could be the way it is? It is a older game. I personaly find myself engaged by something shooting or gnawing at me to notice the little things like that...but I am thinking it is the way it is, so it be normal I supose..

Something called abnormal can't be normal at all.

I do have notice something like that but instead of having major drops of speed it just simply fast things up.Instead of the grass move with the normally with the wind sometimes it goes faster. But is certainly a issue of the game's programming.

Core i5 3570k
GTX 760

The problem also used to happen with an APU A5600. I think it can't be solved, it's probably related to frame times in some way, it is missing many frames, probably an issue with the loop repeated to animate grass.

I've read about the source code being leaked, if that happen, I would be able to solve that within summer after I finish this semester, however, I'm not very optimistic since it's a known issue and none of the big mods solved it.

It always dose that from time to time, I am use to seeing it since I had the first DVD when it was first time released. After all the patches, and now the steam download version, sill dose it from time to time, so for me it is no change. It is a older game. How ever not all the time or all the grass dose it glitch like that, or as bad..looks like all the grass is doing it and it is constant.
I know the stalker game uses a page file too, mine is at 4gigs. But that may have nothing to do with this. I am on a VisionTek Radeon 4350 512mb 16x pic express.

it has nothing to do with hardware, it is a software issue.
