The country and the developers of the game are under invasion by the russians who enforced the use of their language upon the entirety of the former russian empire and the ussr. I was also born in the ussr, hence I speak their language, but I am very excited that the former soviet countries are kicking the russian language out and bringing back their native languages instead.
Colonisation is over and russia should learn to live within its own massive borders. It is as simple as that.
Because they DO speak Russian. Duuuh!
Nah, they do not. Most russian-speaking Ukrainians are switching to Ukrainian and all of them know it. After the invasion, the russian language is on the verge of dying out in Ukraine, so there is absolutely no point in supporting it anymore.
thank you for a clear and non-inflammatory response
Original? In what way? You do realize they've simply used the Ukrainian localization for the global release recorded alongside the Russian, right? These are not NEW voiceovers.
Trust me on this, I've been here since 2003, when THQ released their trailer, so I know the history.
