But then again vanilla doesn't work for some other people so they resort to *fix* mods.
If you managed to get it to work then you don't need anything.
https://www.metacognix.com/stlkrsoc/ZRP_FAQ.html
steam is filled with insanely bias opinions, ZRP is simply too mainstream of a mod so they hate it.
^ Complete nonsense ^
See that? Now convince him it's not ZRP's fault and he still needs it.
he doesnt need it if he just wants to play the game/story. perhaps he didnt install it correctly you need to enable mods with a notepad. skip to 1:53 in this video and you will see a file called FSgame.text you enable mods there not sure how it ended up breaking your game but keep in mind steam unistall doesnt get rid of mods you need to go into the games file and manually delete the added files.
i like zrp it has alot of toggleable options and has been around for along time.
What I'd like is a stalker mod that doesn't mess with any of the brightness, just makes things better not worse. I don't understand why just make things really dark.
I haven't messed with any mods yet that were impressive just make the game a bigger pain to play. So I can kinda see phys point, if all the mods were crummy I'd like vanilla more too.
