texture mods

i know many will hate me, but i care a lot about the graphics of a game. i want to start the stalker saga and i was wondering if there are mods that allow to modernize and improve the graphics. If so, can you name some?

for stalker soc photorealistic zone texturepack is good plus owr3 plus hd models plus reshade for clear sky perfect clear sky should work for call of pripyat absolute nature 4 plus owr3 for cop plus hd models plus reshade

thanks for the advise. i installed everything following carefully the steps but when i start the game it just give me a black screen and then it closes. Do you know anything about it?

Yeah, i'm using the complete mod. I really like it. It does look a lot better than the vanilla game.

idk why when i open the game after installing the complete mod it goes black and then it closes. Do you know any fix? i tried to look in the forums on modb but couldnt find anything

idk why when i open the game after installing the complete mod it goes black and then it closes. Do you know any fix? i tried to look in the forums on modb but couldnt find anything

Have you properly read the installation guide?

If you did but it still black screen, delete every file from the game folder and verify files to go back to vanilla

i did it and i installed the starter pack, but the complete one seemed better. Ill wait for an answer from the author

have you changed the language from the game to english (or whatever language you set) in the steam properties aswell? that was the thing why my game did not start correctly. other then that, if you closely follow the instructions on the website it will work no problem.

If you're on a laptop with an NV GPU, go to Nvidia Control Panel > 3D Settings > Manage Display Mode.

Set to NVIDIA GPU only, click apply, give the display a chance to reset then click Yes to keep settings applied.

That is the only way I've found on my 2022 Lenovo Legion 5i with 3070 to play with this mod so far. Otherwise I get the splash screen, then a black window that opens and closes very very quickly followed by the splash screen being static until I end the related task.

Hopefully whatever occurs in the mod that doesn't give Optimus a chance to switch to the NV GPU can be resolved in the near future.
