Oh I see. I hope you can get an answer, I'm not sure what the problem is. I thought all the files go into the mod folder but I guess that's not true.
I was using the Stalker complete overhaul. But I haven't tried uninstalling, or getting rid of it.
Maybe I'm mixing up the Stalker 2 to installation with Shadow of Chernobyl, because I modded them both on the same day
When you say that you verified files, you mean that you deleted every single file and then verified files?
It doesn't exist because that's not how modding works, not at least in this game
Maybe verifying ignores mod folder
But the game data folder does not exist by default so Steam likely does not touch it.
