Dark Valley

Ok I'm at the mission where you have to sneak into this base, but i have to get to dark valley first. The way to it is full of radiation and I tried to go to the Dark Valley but i just get overwhelmed by radiation. Someone tell me how to get to it without going through the radiation please. Thanks :) (PS: I also have Stalker Complete 2009 mod)

You could always stock up on Vodka and just chug a lot of it.

Listen to your geiger counter too, there may be a maze path through it.

Go to the Wild Territory. You will come across an event and a mission to help someone. Do it successfully, go to the same place that someone is going, talk to his friend, and you'll get an item that will help.
