The Tunnel (Garbage)

Alright, alright, real talk.
That tunnel. The one in Garbage, down the rails. Where the bandits that you need to 'fend off' always spawn.
You may have looked past it. I don't blame you.
But there's something down there. Specifically, there's a corpse down there.
And oh, how badly I want to loot that corpse.
But the radiation is insane. No matter what suit I have, doesn't matter if it's a bulletproof radiation suit or just a normal radiation suit, I can't get through. It says I need protection.
But I should say, the suit I have says my radiation resistance is 90%. On top of that I have a belt full of Fireballs, which give -20 Radiation each.
Yet no matter how much protection I have, it isn't enough!

How do I get through this damn tunnel!? What goods does that corpse have that's possibly worth all this trouble? Have any of you managed to get through it? What does he have, and how do you get through all the radiation? Normally I'd just run through, but it literally slows you down!

I remember a Stalker suit was fine. Anyway, there's a rifle that shoots different (pistol?) ammo. Good to use on beasties to save other ammo.

Pretty sure Vodka is your friend for radiation isn't it? Same with anti radiation drugs, but your best bet would be getting something with high Radiation resistance or multiple of the radiation absorbing artefacts (I forget the names)

In case I didn't make it clear:
- I am wearing a radiation suit
- I have multiple anti-radiation artifacts on
- Vodka or drugs do not help; they only affect the damage bar you can see in your inventory screen.

I loot that guy with a rookie outfit every single time.

The trick is to use bolts to determine where the anomalies are and jump instead of walking around them. You will be irradiated immediately when you touch to certain radiation spots, use antirads or vodka if that happens.

If you don't linger and quickly get in and out, your prize will be the Viper 9x18, a unique weapon that shoots 9x18 rounds instead of regular 9x19s.

That is because you hit radiation fields that prevent player from going out of bounds, due to their radius they peek through ground above you. Just stick to the right side if tunnel and you won't be hit.

Hey, this is probably dead, but what I did was, I got tired of moving so slowly, that I just sprinted through the ENTIRE THING, and it worked. Sprint through the entire right side of the tunnel and it and you won't need any of that.
