Kill the stalker

Hi, i'd need some advice regarding the quest "kill the stalker". I've accepted the quest and waited for the stalker and his group to spawn/enter rostok. My problem is that I can't kill him in rostok without duty killing me afterwards. That's why I've waited for him to enter the wild territory but, after leaving rostok, he didn't spawn in the wild territory and isn't marked on my map anymore; he simply vanished. Do you know any way to fix that?

I strongly recommend just downloading a mini-mod that removes the time limits on missions. That mission has plagued me from day one.

He didn't vanish but the problem is that Non personal characters walk freely at the word and don't have access like the player to fast travel, so you going need to wait a day in-game to meet him at Wild Territory.
And like Kumelowski mentioned, there are modifications that not only fix main issues at the game but make the main game better to play with, including side missions. Try moddb website and look their library.
