Autumn Aurora 2 keeps crashing

Hi, folks!! I'm playing SoC Autumn Aurora 2 v2.05.01 and it keeps giving CTD in Rostok after getting out of Wild Territory and before entering the bar area, just after the "synchronizing" message on loading screen. It's a "bug trap" error. I've read a little about this and in mod's page in moddb.com and it says that it must be something about corrupted savegames, specially with autosaves implemented in xray engine. It also occurred inside X16 lab in the middle of the gameplay in that part where you have to turn off the switches for the big brain machine. Does anyone have the samne problem or know about a fix???

I know it's maybe a bit old topic but i had exactly same problem and i found a solution, so i want to share it :)

My game started crashing when i wanted enter Sarcophagus and even at Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in some places, when i loaded saved game. After some time of testing i found out it's caused by military dialogue which you hear from time to time on this area. When you accidentally miss some of dialogue this cause a crash to desktop (it can happen when you didn't explore whole Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant location, almost every corner)

When i found out a reason of this crashes, i just simple walked around whole location, to listen all dialogues and after that i could finally enter Sarcophagus without any crash

I also couldn't save game in Sarcophagus because my game instantly crashed when i want to load it (i think it was caused by Wish Granter voice), so i needed to pass all Sarcophagus without saving. I finally made it and when i entered Monolith Control Center (it's Secret lab mission and also true ending of game) i could save and load game without any crash! :D

I think you can finish game with other endings too but I'm not sure if you can save game later.

I think I'm stuck for good and i have no idea how to fix it :( I tried to do true good ending by decline the C-Consciousness offer and destroy them but after i talked with hologram i needed to enter new area (stancia_2) and when i want to enter it my game crash. I tried many things to fix it, like reinstalling mod, trying on retail version of game, moving all saves to other folder except one, setting static lightning but none of them helped.


Edit 3 (final - problem solved!):
I think i found final solution to all of this crash problems!

I read on reddit that ZRP 1.07 (mod which AA 2.1 contain) has feature named "The Zone Is Open" (TZIO), here is info from official site if you want to look - http://www.metacognix.com/stlkrsoc/ZRP_FAQ.html#TZIO In short, this feature allows you to teleport to anywhere you want on map and thanks to this feature I fixed my problems with crashes on loading when I wanted to enter last area (stancia2). I just simple teleported to last location of game.

To use this teleport, you need to press ESC to get to main menu and then press T, you should see teleport menu. Now just select on which level you want to teleport (for me it was "Final_Level_or_Free_Play") and press "ui_zs_lets_do_this" button.

On this last level of game I also have encountered some crashes when loading save file but fortunately it occurred rarely. So make sure you save game often.

I was really happy I finally could finish game :D
