If you kill them in the bar map and duty catches wind of it you'll have to kill all the duty too.
Because the relationship between the Stalkers and Duty is fine. Their beef is with you not Duty. Thats how it works.
Stay neutral, never accept a killing mission.
All that said, even if you didn't do such mission the same scenario can still happen if you accidentally shoot a stalker.
Extract in the game folder. While in-game - open the menu and press T, this should turn hostile NPCs neutral.
Same thing just happened to me. Random guy in front of loading screen to bar from garbage open fired on me now I'm supposedly a murderer. Script works okay, but Mercs still aim guns at me and eventually gun me down after a few moments. Was trying to turn in a camp elimination quest and they seem to gun me down more often after dialogue. Says I was shooting, and a PDA message pops up.
People in bar aren't mad, and like OP stated, all Duty soldier and random stalkers were fine besides a few random stalkers that opened fire. Oddest thing is it looked like a bandit with the grey hoodie as well.
Good thing is it shot me up to 1 on the ranking instantly. I'm hoping it's solved by the time I jump through another loading screen. I'll keep updating if I see any fixes or to just help out the next poor fool to make the same mistakes as me.
Edit: After some backpedaling I noticed that it was in fact a rogue Merc so I'm likely going to be hated by Mercs forever since the script is basically a temporary solution.
My new course of action is to wipe out the entire Merc group in the Bar area.
At this rate I'll do whatever I need to to return some sort of normalcy to the bar.
Solution 2 is to just deal with being open fired on while going to the bar, making sure to save frequently.
Loading screens and the like reset them to a "neutral" yet hostile state so no luck, and very sad that this bug exists.
