You can find the outfits in your game folder in the outfit.ltx file. Dig through that and you might find something.
To repair a suit put 4 battery artifacts on your belt & go stand in a electric anomaly for a few minutes.
The SSP-99M is the suit you are talking about and I have been doing the Electro repair method, however, I have to do it a lot as even one or two hits on the 99M causes a ~3% loss in durability depending on the caliber. The only difference between the 99M and the PSZ-9md is 10% Burn and 20% Chemical Burn resistance, both of which I have never been damaged by. So if the PSZ has the higher durability, I would much prefer to use that so I don't have to repair as often.
For the labs you dont need any anomaly protection but rather some good psy block and rupture protection from mutants.

You can do just fine with the Tourist suit & fast AK.
I've already done the labs and the PSZ-9Md UPS is exactly the same as a SEVA (resistance wise at least; I don't know about durability), except I got it for free from Voronin.
I don't doubt it about the suit but I would actually go INSANE if I had to use any Warsaw Pact weapon except for the Tunder all game; they are so very inaccurate even in semi-auto. I swapped from my Abakan /w PSO-1 to a TRs 301 /w SUSAT as soon as I could, switching over to the GP37 when I found one with almost maxed durability.
The Vintar BC in the Freedom Base didn't show up for me on first visit but I am exclusively using that as my primary now until Voronin gives me the Sniper VLA mission, so I can drop the Chaser 13 to save some inventory weight.
Yeah, the Sniper VLA is from a mission that you get from General Voronin, which allows you to add a PSO-1 scope to it, which you can not do with the standard version. I won't be able to snipe as far with the 2x PSO-1 compared to the 4x on the Vintar but it'll be easier to use in CQC.
I've never really had much issue needing to lead targets with the Vintar or VLA so it doesn't bother me much. Maybe it's all the ARMA and DayZ I used to play and being used to those mechanics. /shrug
As for the the supressor, as long as an enemy doesn't see another enemy die, I can usually take out a few enemies in a camp with the Vintar/VLA before all hell breaks loose. When it does as long as I move to a new spot and don't make a sound or get seen, the enemies go to where I was.
Also, the 9x39mm SP-5/SP-6 are one of the most effective and powerful rounds in the game(s), especially considering how common they become. The 7.62x54R is more powerful but is a lot rarer, heavier and way more expensive. Even the standard 9x39mm PAB-9 is powerful enough to kill the helmeted military guys in 1-2 headshots; the SP-5 also has an accuracy bonus which can help combat some small weapon degradation and the SP-6 chews through pretty much all armour.
Anything nato or Freedom that Shoots 5.56 is simply king because the standard ammo does high flesh dmg and the armour piercing ammo is decent. Theres lots to play around with. I like later mods that make alot of pistols viable and use them for most of my games. The as Val is a handicap in that way sometimes too as its just a fun cool looking gun but has less potential then all the other mid sized rifles.
