Otherwise, you need to install 1.0004. Here's the instruction about how to downgrade from 1.0005+ to 1.0004 and install AMK mod: https://i.imgur.com/VLRrFx0.png. You can just downgrade without installing AMK :P
Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat latest patches are 1.5.10 and 1.6.02 respectively.
Most of the mods for these games were made for latest patch versions.
But for Shadow of Chernobyl the situation is different. Most of the mods were made for the outdated 1.0004 patch. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Ah, and 1.0006 also introduced a crash when you're trying to eat something that is not in your inventory.
