crashing straight to desktop with no message whenever I load a save or load into a new zone

I have only been playing the game for about 10 hours and I like to save quite a bit just incase I die, but now that this is happening I am very annoyed while playing the game. I have tried starting a new game and it doesn't crash when loading into save that I made on the new game so I think that the save is corrupt but not entirely sure... I have the fatal error message from my logs but cannot find anything about it:

[error]File : E:\stalker\sources\trunk\xr_3da\xrGame\Inventory.cpp
[error]Line : 220
[error]Description : InSlot(pIItem)
Hopefully someone can make any sense out of it. I am also running without mods.

Looks like you tried to drop an item in your inventory and it, for some reason crashed the game. You can tell by where it says "Function" and "Description", the one called "File" is where the error occured and where it says "Line" is the line that has the error.

Don't recommend changing anything in the file, just roll back your save a little and see if it still happens

Can you also comment the "Argument" or is that empty too? Most helpful when solving these things

So I reverted back to a save that was about 2 hours before my last one and it was still happening, I will probably have to restart even though how annoying that is... I also cannot find anything for the "Argument" but I thank you for responding and trying to help!

Tbh if you install some mod that fixes most bugs it should maybe fix it. I didn't do a vanilla run just straight up started with mods

this is so far later but maybe it will help someone down the line replaying a golden game. THIS IS HOW I FIXED THIS CRASH ISSUE

apparently i had a bugged item in my inventory, TWO bugged items, To fix this issue, drag a corpse to a load screen area like in garbage or something, dump ALL your inventory into him, and go through the load screen. i crashed, but on loading in, i had ONE thing in my inventory, a random Pistol, so i dropped it, and did it again, and after reloading after the inevitable crash, i had a Viper 5. after dropping that, i never crashed again, took my gear back off the body, and am fine!
