I'm a hoarder. Money isn't an issue. I have tons of looted AKs to give them.
I dropped a fully loaded AKM-74/2U infront of them (when they carry pistols) yet nobody picked it up.
They need atleast 1 bullet in their inventory to have unlimited ammo. If you sell them 1 bullet of a certain caliber, they'll have unlimited ammo for any weapon that requires it.
Yep. Can't sell ammo to NPCs.
You can't sell them ammo by default, but after a few fixes, you can sell them anything.

For example Petruha and his team, who can help you raid the base of the bandits. The fact is, the only weapon you can afford at that point is a pistol and the only stalker you can talk to is Petruha (who already has a shotgun).
The only mission in which a difference can be made is the one where the village is assaulted by the mercenaries. And even if the rookies die, they'll respawn in a moment.
Wait, how did you do that?
What fixes are you talking about?
Did you buy his bandage and that allowed you to sell him a gun?
Thanks - it worked! However their ammo is limited to how much is loaded in that gun. I wonder if you can give them more ammo.
