Can you go into the power plant?

Can you go into the nuclear power plant in this game? Or does it just play around it? Recently bought COP and I'm liking it, but I really would like to go inside of the actual place where the disaster occured, and maybe even see the elephant's foot?

You can go in front of CNPP, behind it, to inside and even get on the CNPP to some parts.

In CS, CNPP is featured again at the end and it's once again tied to the story, so it would be better for you to play it to see it yourself.

While the famous "elephant's foot" is nowhere to be seen in CNPP, something very similar is in the agroprom underground.

In Shadow Of Chernobyl only

In SoC you will be fed up with CNPP when the outro hits. You'll get to see the 4th reactor block, some rooftops and underground corridors. Sounds like not much, but the amount of enemies is unholy.

In CS the last level also features CNPP, yet you only get to jump around without going inside.

In CoP you won't visit CNPP at all, as your last level is going to be the Pripyat itself.
