Ur GC is a little bit better than my gtx660m and I run Stalker SOC with mods quiet well.

This game runs on less than that, you have more than what is needed for a laptop to play it, you should be good to go..

No need to be such a prick he just asked a question, a fairly valid one at that.

No it wasn't a "valid" question, hence, my comment. Ask youself what new computer can't play a decade old game hmm. All he had to do was install the game and click play to see if it plays. But millenials today would rather waste everyone else's time asking dumb questions.

Hey man, I was a console gamer for years and just moved to computer gaming. I heard lapstops handle games worse than PCs do and I'm new to this stuff. If you are going to be such a craphead then why even bother saying something? Or is it just that your generation likes to act before you think and thats why the world today is a giant lemming.

Or would they rather waste everyone else's time by acting like a know-it-all?

I think this is a perfectly valid question. As stated previously, you'll be able to run the vanilla game well, just avoid any graphical overhauls. If you get any performance issues you should switch to static lighting, lower grass density, shadows etc. Have fun!

I am experiencing random lag spikes where the screen freezes for a couple of seonds though

U can mod ur game without any problems (avoid ENB), and stutering is due to the Xray engine. Lower the grass density and turn off the grass shadow (it sux anyway).

Just lower your settings, grass is most likely what's causing performance issues. If you're still having issues, get rid of the shadows, lower object quality, draw distance, etc. That should do the trick, if not you should lower the resolution. But that really shouldn't happen if you've done all of the previous stuff. Your laptop should be able to handle playing at 1920x1080. Make sure you don't have a bunch of browser tabs open.
