how do i get anomalies.

i've seen around 5000 and spammed bolts but how do i get them? i see a orange glow when i bolt one

I don't think you can "get" anomalies. You can only get artifacts. To get artifacts, you have to find them. You can find them mostly in the wilderness just laying on the ground. Ocassionally in boxes which you can destroy.

The bolts are just for anomaly detection, but some artifacts spawn near anomalies. You can find some stone blood and meat chunk artifacts in the garbage pretty easily, this is what one of them looks like.

Throw a bolt and look for nothing happening. Yes, artefacts sometimes spawn in/near anomalies after an emission. Other stalkers can harvest them first if you don't run right out and scan. Not all anomalies spawn artefacts. Buy a Bear detector if you see it for sale and can afford it. You can get the Veles detector after you get far enough in the story line.

You do not "get" anomlies, you avoid them. The bolts are used to help you navagate away from them. For example, if your not sure about one in front of you, or stuck in a feild of them, you throw the bolt, and when it responds to it, you walk the other way. You "get" artifacts which are the result of the anomly..
