Can I just ignore the controller in Agroprom
Can I just run away up the ladder or will it just follow?

I think you can just flee.

The controller will still be there even if you escape and leave it be, so you might have to deal with it if you go back to the Agroprom undergrounds later.

You can run away without a scratch, but it will be there when you have to go back. What I do to avoid it is go out the way you enter.

In one of my playthroughs, I just ran for it and didn't kill it. Later when I came back to look for some moonlights, the controller's psychic effect (not the attack, just the effect you have when being close to a controller) still could reach me even though I wasn't close to it, which caught me off guard and left me confused.

If it left you confused then it means the controller did his job lol

You can leave it, but you'll need to come back to agroprom underground later to meet the Doc if you want to get all possible endings.

You can get all endings in a single playthrough?
Scratch & Sniff Nov 11, 2017 @ 7:02am
Well, all but one ending are false endings. You need to go back to agroprom underground later to be able to get the true ending. To answer your question, yes, you can get any possible ending in one playthrough, but all endings are dependent on your actions.

I think it's possible if you use saves at given places :

There are 2 different ways to end the game, either make a wish at the Wish Granter (false ending), either find the secret lab and meet the C-consciousness (true ending).

For Wish granter possible endings, the wish Strelok makes depends on what you've done before, but not since the beginning :
-I want to be rich : have 50k+ RU when making a wish
-I want the Zone to disappear : have less than 50k RU and Duty and Freedom leaders alive, and an excellent reputation
-I want to rule the world : have less than 50k and both faction leaders dead
-Mankind must be destroyed : have less than 50k RU and Duty and Freedom leaders alive, and a terrible reputation
-I want immortality : if you don't meet other criterias, so one leader is alive, have less than 50k RU and not terrible or excellent reputation

All the endings are possible if you save before entering Pripjat, you can then achieve a few actions to change the possible ending, but you have to play each time from Pripjat to the end.

For "true" endings, you need to have completed "meet the guide" missions first. I advice you complete it anyway, because you can use decoder or not. In the reactor, you can own the detector and still go for the Wish granter endings. So a save file in the reactor can gant you access to both true endings, or one of the false endings.

About true endings, you have to find the secret lab, then talk to the C-consciousness, they will ask you to join them, if you say yes, you'll get another ending (which is not "true" according to what happens later in COP), if you say "no", you will need to destroy the C-consciousness to get the real true ending.

So it's possible to get every endings by saving before pripjat, but you'll need to play last levels anyway if you want all Wish granter endings, because you can't kill faction leaders after stepping into pripjat.
