O.G.S.E install guide for most recent version

so do i need the 6.9.2 version first and then 6 part 6.9.3 version on top. its been ages since i modded stalker so ive forgoten most of what to do

6.9.2 and 6.9.3 are two separate versions of the mod and also the second one (6.9.3.) is standalone. Some people prefer 6.9.2 version, through 6.9.3 has a lot of more content. You can find both versions on Moddb.

Anyway, if you want to play the newest one, first download "O.G.S.E. 0.6.9.3 Final 2.0 Standalone", either all separate parts from Moddb, or a full pack from some torrent. Then install it in it's own separated folder, not in SoC folder.

Then download and install the patch "O.G.S.E. 0.6.9.3 Final 2.0 Standalone Patch 2.10R". After installation of the patch, start the mod's launcher as it will change the mod's folders structure. After that, close the launcher and manually download and install (extract) the fix "STALKER OGSE 0693 Patch 2.10 Revised_fix2", I think into the mod's folder. Then, enjoy the mod.

Also, one last think, while you will be doing missions in Cordon, in the Rookie village, I recommend you to make more saves, as sometimes, Military can attack the Rookie village, or also the rookies (Loners there) can go crazy and try to kill all Military around, which usually ends in a lot of mission givers dead.
