Of course you'd get ripped to shreds by the Monolith.
STALKER is a PC exclusive. It is one game I would say REQUIRES a mouse. You may be able to left-hand a controller for movement and other functions, but mouse is essential. I have tried this game with an xbox controller, any number of 3rd party button interfaces, a 360 controller and a steam controller. Best results were with the steam controller. You can really "tweak" settings and make headshots possible.
Its not about pc players being bad with controllers, it is just that controllers are terrible at accuracy.
