Updates?

Today I've noticed that all the three games in the STALKER series have recieved an update. Does anybody have any info about it? I thought this would never actually happen. Also how big is the update? I blocked it, because I don't want it to mess with my mods.

Also its a pretty small update about 800kb-2mb

Will this update corrupt my modded stalker? And if so, how can i disable the update?

you will need to reinstall the mod again, its impossible to disable updates with steam, iam in the same situation, going to check my mods all over again

Has to be a glitch. I have all three, but only Shadow of Chernobyl is actually on my hard drive. They wouldn't have been able to download the files to the other two.

the patch i have to download for stalker soc is 3.3gb, anyone else got a patch that big?
