Help me with sarcophagus radiation
I got the whole series of this game. So far I love it but I got stuck in "sarcophagus radiation". Is there anyway to remove the radiation so I will pass that part of the game ? I really dont care about it even though the game is about RADIATION.

Collect medkits, bandages, food, anti-rad drugs. Otherwise just have an artifact that reduces radiation.

lol it doesnt help at all. I tried everything except the artifacts but then again there is no artifacts in that area for me to collect. I thought changing the difficulty might help it but it doesnt help anything. Only solution is to disable it for a short time then enable it.

Well, then you're gonna have to load a previous save and come better prepared.

You said it yourself, the game is about radiation...so prepair yourself. You had to whole game to acquire better suits, anti-rad and artifacts. Gathering is one of the main means to stay alive,,,

It's part of the game, you must prepare yourself. You can't just cheat every time things get difficult.

Then go play Fallout 3 or something.

What kind of suit are you wearing? I suggest getting at least a SEVA suit which is good in blocking out/reducing radiation levels. There is also an artifact that you receive from doing a side mission for the Freedom trader in the Army barracks section of the map. It involves your clearing out a village nearby with blood suckers. Once you wipe all them out; you are awarded this artifact which helps reduce the radiation levels in the sarcaphogus level. It's all about PRE-preparation BEFORE going into that building. Also; bring along vodka and anti-rads with you and the yellow med kits which also helps reducing radiation and restoring health levels. I hope this helps you and good luck.

thank you mate for all the help and trust me i did everything you said except artifacts which is pissing me off because it feels like its a MUST HAVE which kills the immersion. But luckyly i had a save file when I was at lab 16 so i am continuing from there

You don't need to use artifacts to complete the game, I didn't bother with them until my second or third time playing, but you'll need to bring a lot more anti-rads and health if you don't use them and keep moving.

As for armor, the SKAT-9M is also very good for radiation and bulletproofing. You can find one for free in the hotel stash in Pripyat.

Sadly, STALKER have two gameplay phases:
Preparation to ending.
Ending.
And between them you can easily discover almost 70-80% of game content.

Check this one, if you want similar and bigger game with factions, some kind of freedom and open-world.
But with FarCry visuals.
Added it to my wishlist looks interesting thank you for that cheers

Yeah I brought like 10 rad drugs but I didn't realize there were going to be 20 monolith exoskellys in every single room I went in so by the time I actually SAW the wish granter but wasn't nowhere close to touching it I was completely out of drugs, vodka, medkits, and bandages.
My earliest hard save was right at the entrance to Chernobyl NPP and I didn't feel like running all the way through Pripyat, the Red Forest, and the Military Warehouses just to go to the bar and stock up on drugs.

Honestly I got tired of trying at that point and just looked up all the possible endings since in my eyes I would have already beaten the game if I had just brought more damn antirad drugs.

I kind of expected the 90% radiation resist to greatly lower the amount of radiation I was getting fed but I was using the antirad left and right.

And yes I was wearing the SSP-99M suit whenever I wasn't getting shot at and I would switch back to the exoskeleton whenever I spotted monoliths.

I was close to not play and quit this buggy game. I was lucky that I had a save file. Now I have collected a lot of "Fireball" artifacts which gives me -20 radiation. Still sucks that those artifacts are the only solution.

collect vodka, useful
GoodComrade Jun 7, 2017 @ 3:00pm
Just finished the game on master difficulty and to pass that area that I was stuck, You needed fireball artifact which SUCKS to make it necessary. All the items that I collected was useless. Only artifacts helped me to get through that BS level
