Anyone had error on 14085 (latest Ptach) Key events Wrong data type?

(string expected) Game validated, ity loads then runs for about 2 minutes then get this error.

Seems like a bug with a mod where some value has been given a number, while the game expects letters.

The error message is:
"Key: Events
Wrong data type (string expected)
This error is usually caused by modding. Some game resources contain semantically incorrect data."

This error occurs by zoom in - after update the latest patch - no new mods installed - save game and new game tested.

That's odd... If it is a mod broken it'll usually tell you which one...

I'd suggest verifying file integrity... right click game in steam -> Properties -> Local files
May need to restart steam after that.

I got this problem and then i verified the game cache. Now I cant even load the game because i get an error page saying lua error. I now cannot even load the game.

lorcan I posted above re ETR1000. Do you have the mod RUNNING? It wont give a wrong data error if the mod is in game and installed but not running physically. Odd one but I have passed onto Tom at UG

I suppose a mod error coming up when zooming could mean it’s a fault with one particular LOD level of a particular mod, that only gets accessed once you zoom in close enough to see it. If you can work out what vehicle or asset you’re zooming in on that triggers it, you might be able to track down the culprit.
