Edit/Side Note: If you played the new Battle Mercy with her new ult, that's basically a copy of Willo's Ult. Fly around without using ammo.
Symmetra: Nobody.
Torbjorn: Barik, but there is a clear distinction. Torbjorn is a dps character, while Barik is a Front Line (or Tank in Overwatch). He has a shield and more influence over the game than Torbjorn does.

Several others I'm probably forgetting.
With all the Blizzard fanboys, it comes up everywhere.
"Wahhhh! Talus can punch people! Copy of Doomfist!"
Roadhog with a plushy Makoa costume, I REALLY want that now.
Also now that you mention it, yeah there is not equivalent to symmetra.
While I don't understand why she is listed support and not defense, I really enjoy that style of play. That said, 6 sentries in Paladins might be a bit much.
Some people are accusing Talus of being a combined ripoff of Sombra and Doomfist because teleport and punching. Yes, seriously. Maybe the teleporter I can understand a little bit but PUNCHING. DOOMFIST DID NOT INVENT PUNCHING. Also Talus' teleporter works similarly to how Kinessa's used to work. It was basically the same but no timer and you manually teleport to it after you have deployed it. So changing the teleporter aside, Kinessa has it before Sombra. This is why no one can really point fingers at anyone here, they're just fun game mechanics each company thought of.
The comment from here on out is mostly unrelated as I had too much fun coming up with a story about working at Hi-rez. If you do read the story, i'd like to know how accurate you think it might be lol.
Literally the only ability I have ever been suspicious of was Makoa hooking people with his anchor. But even then I feel like some people at Hi-rez were like, "shoot, I can't think of a third ability for makoa." "He has his anchor and I saw this character from somewhere that hooks people with a hook." "Yeah so?" "Should we do that sir?" "How are you supposed to hook people by throwing something at them dead ahead without impaling them directly like Scorpion does? Oh well Roadhog doesn't answer that question either so I guess it's fine." "Thanks boss I hope I made you proud!" "You'll only make me proud when flanks fall out of the meta completely and we have at least nine currencies by patch 70." "YES SIR!"
Later that evening at Hi-rez, "Make sure to wait until patch 40 something to introduce the first new currency, we want them hooked before we let our plans unfold." "Lying to our customers with a multiple currency system saying they can 'earn things fast without spending money' instead of being upfront with them that we want their money and it's set up to make them spend it anyway because the people with too much time on their hands to play are probably capable of spending money on the game anyway seems like a bad idea"
"That was a massive run-on unnamed employee."
"did you even listen to what I said?"
"..."
"Anyway, I want to see more buffs for our frontliners and Lex, I also want Lex recategorized as either a support or a or a frontline."
"ugh."
"EVERYONE! WHOEVER COMES UP WITH THE MOST CRIPPLING FLANK NERFS FOR ANYONE WHO ISN'T LEX OR ANDROXUS GETS A RAISE!"
