Why are there so many Bots (At least in Casual)

I have to ask this question after consistent matches of bots either on my own team and/or the enemy team- Why are there so many damn bots? Do people really just queue and leave? Or are their connections just trash? Or are Paladins servers just bad and that's why? Or all of the above?

Because I really don't get how there is a bot in at least 40% of all games I've played overall and at least one or more bot every match recently. Heck just 3 matches ago I had a game where at LEAST 3 of the enemy were bots. Just... why? It's not fun when the enemy has a bot because it becomes a steam roll. And it's certainly not fun when it's on your team, obviously. (P.S I am not a low level player and I am not queuing against Bots by accident. I know because I was literally talking to 2 people who all agreed and argued with me about this bot issue right before I made this community post.)

I almost want to make a petition for a surrender option for casual games when someone becomes a bot just because more often than not the person doesn't rejoin, and the team which is practically handicapped now with a feeding bot gets absolutely trounced to death.

Though I'm sure some of you would frown upon this and say "Don't give up, there's always a chance to win" and you're right. I have won when there was a bot on the team. I have won when a team has given up and it's a 4v5. I have even won when I have given up and spammed VVGG or "GG" or "We Lost." But you cannot even argue the objective fact that the chances of winning with a bot is less than 50%. I mean think about it, the moment you get a bot you basically get the biggest feeder in all of existence. Bots contribute nothing to your team with their lack luster damage, low-grade healing, buggy movement aka bum rush the point and die etc. They are a bigger asset to the enemy team than it is to your team. No joke. They just feed a consistent source of credits to the enemy team, even if it's a measly 5 or a 15 (I don't know the number of the lowest credit reward) so that the enemy team can buy their level 3 deft hands and crush you harder.

And sure you can argue that you can go into Ranked and that they have less bots. But first, not everyone wants to play ranked where the people are 2X more sweaty, 3X more toxic and have 10X longer wait time. I just want to play a decent match where everyone is a real person, if I wanted to play with or against bots I'd do custom match or VS bots. On top of this, the argument of "Go to Ranked" for less bots is just avoiding the issue.

But hey, maybe it's just me, or that I'm so unlucky I get all the bots funnelled into my game. And perhaps you can say that this is just a big fat rant to make me feel better and this isn't a real problem. But I ask this question about bots not out of malicious anger but out of partial frustration, disappointment, curiosity and genuine concern for the game and it's players. Why so many bots?

Servers are trash and game just crashes a lot

I see a lot of people afk when the round starts, especially the first round. It might only be 25 seconds but that's all it takes to go in 4v5 and lose the round. it's very frustrating

Could be any number of reasons.

Players don't load-in and get stuck at the forever loading in screen or at the draft screen with the timer stuck at 0.
Players get disconnected by the server due to a lag spike.
The player's game crashes during match load-in or at some point during the match.

The player might attempt to relaunch their game if they realize the game won't load them in or the game simply crashed.

The other reasons are the player manually closes their game out at any point after the match starts loading in or simply "walks away" from the game and lets the game kick them for being AFK. It's nearly or is indistinguishable from the previous reasons and means the player won't come back.

The longer a match goes, if the player did not try to reconnect to the match, the less likely them not being there was accidental and more likely intentional.

There used to be a team vote to concede option years ago. It was removed, and they are unlikely to return it.

I have 2 monitors and I only play ranked. it doesn't bother me to wait. on the 2nd monitor, I am reading. I don't waste my time. before gold 2, very often stupid players. so pass the qualifying matches well. I recently passed for a friend and got a gold 4. this is better than starting a game of silver.
if you want to enjoy the game, play gold 1 and higher, otherwise stupid players will upset you.

There's more than that. You could have noticed some players — the ones we refer to as bots in this discussion — have nicknames like (I'm oversimplifying) Alex, Squisher, Buster... It is sometimes the name too that gives them away. I call these bots the hi-rez bots and consider them to be part of the game as intended by the devs. There's just no way someone with a name like "Alex" who acts like a bot and is very high level is a real person. And there's no way no one has reported such a person for being a bot. But here we are with a pretty "unique" Alex that has been ruining matches for both sides since the beta.

Some time ago I got 3 times in a row guy that was exp farming in casual, He start games and immediately leaves, If We have such stupid players, then I won't be surprise by anything about this game.

you actually have a really good solution for that. go to your definitions and disable crossplay to keyboard or console only. you can only play with bots on CP. If you disable it, the queue time gets longer but you'll find close to no bots

Mostly people are farming XP with simple custom bots, like WOW or any other online game. The bots I meet in the majority of cases don't go on point. They stand on 1 place, after couple of minutes move once, then stand again not to get kicked. I also get 50% of matches with bots. Couple of years ago it wasn't like that. It's not the servers or connection issues. It's people deliberately AFKing to farm event pass XP and get a frее sкin.

lol my first rank was plat 2 in season 1 and I never had a lower but the problem is I keep getting golds/plats even in dia/master elo :)
mm is a joke no matter your rank is high, you will still get noobs who have auto-buy on even if you reach to gm.
