Shame,really.
wall is a trap, warder field is a trap, you can do 775 dmg per click (225x3) x5, mother's grace is the best, 1 vs 1 she is really strong.

Rock Lady fanboi tl;dr
/// WARNING ///
First off go the training room and practice her left click. It's weird because it feels like both projectile and hitscan. Hitscan because it's instant but projectile because the delay between each rock round in your three round burst makes it so you have to lead your shots before the next round in your burst goes off. When you can consistently get two to three shots in your burst to hit a moving Pip you're in good standing. Go for body shots instead of headshots. Inara's weapon does not have headshot crit damage. Also since Hirez decided to give one of the least mobile frontliners a 40% slow when firing, know when to stop firing when you want to catch up/run away from and to enemies.
Your bread and butter skills of Damage Reduction are your Right Click Earthern Guard and your Earthern Ward. Get the Warder's Field 4 to your Earthern guard's aoe gives you 20% damage reduction. Keep Mother's Grace as your Legendary, that gives your Earthern Guard an extra 20% damage reduction to a total of 50% damage reduction every time your Earthern Guard is up. When you can alternate between Earthern Guard and Ward to keep your damage reduction online. Also get the cards to reduce the CD of Earthern Guard and Earthern Ward to make your Damage Reduction skills more spammable. Keep in mind that if there is no enemy in sight and no one is shooting you, you don't have to keep your Damage Reduction skills up. Earthern Guard and Ward's damage reduction stack so you can use both at the same time if you really need that much damage reduction atm. As always, the best defense is simply to stay out of the enemy's LOS when you can help it, that way you don't have to take damage when you don't need to.
But more importantly, your Earthern Guard also makes you immune to stuns, hexes, knockback, fear and whole lot of other debuffs aside from Cauterize. Use your right click to give a giant stony middle finger to Bomb King's stuns, Pip's ult, Torvald's Hyperbeam and anyone else who thinks of trying to CC you.
Your Ward deals damage and slows , so don't forget to use it when someone gets close to you so they can't run away easily and take even more damage.
Your wall is situational but it has many applications. One obvious use is put a wall between the enemy team and the capture point. Another use is using the wall to split up enemy teammates, block off escape routes from fleeing foes. People tend to get confused when you put a wall behind then and not realize why they can't keep walking backwards. Other uses include blocking ultimates like Ruckus' Hexafire, putting distance between an Ulted makoa and your team, blocking a Skye's bomb, blocking Viktor's los so he can't see anyone to drop his rockets on and blocking Torvald's ult so he stops making you fly off the map.
Your ult is kind of meh. You got to aim it, you can't cancel the channeling time afaik, and 500 damage is "meh." Use it when people are grouped up or when you want to kill off that annoying asf Seris so she stops keeping her team alive.
For Legendaries the no brainer is the default Mother's Grace. You get a total of 50% damage reduction on your right click and when your right click is up you get 80% more healing. Add in Rejuvenate 3 on top of your right click on top of having a Seris with Mortal Reach, and then you get to understand why people keep saying that Inara is immortal. Tremors is useless as your wall's cd is too long and worthless compared to 50% damage reduction, and Trecherous Ground used to be good since it gives your Ward Cripple on top of DoT damage and Slows, but again 50% damage reduction and 80% more healing.
For cards get the ones to shortern cd on your Ward and Guard. Get cards to make it so your ward gives you 20% damage reduction, without it you can't keep your Damage Reduction up at all times. Avoid all other cards other than the one that gives you more health.
As for items, Rejuvenate 3 as soon as you can to max out your potential healing bonus. Wrecker and Cauterize if they have a Torvald and/or Seris and your team is too dumb to buy these items. Get Chronos to reduce your long cd so you can spam your damage reduction abilities more or get Master Riding if you're on a long map and know you're going to die alot. As for defense items go blast shield/haven depending on which damage type they have most since these cards' damage reduction also stacks with your skills. Only go for Resilience if you really, really don't want to get caught out by enemy ults such as Pip and Torvald, ever.
Focus squishies first, if they're down or frontline is in the way go after them.
Take cauterize first followed by rejuvenate, then a yellow card of your choice. Don't worry about the blue defensive cards, you don't need them that much because Inara is already really tanky with her rightclick.
Wall of enemies on the point so you get them in front of you while blocking enemies behind your target off from you. You can also use your walls to funnel enemies into a certain spot so you can focus all the damage on them.
The ward stone is also really usefull for zoning and slowing down enemies.
When facing a Torvald while using mother's grace legendary use it as soon as you see him setting up for his ultimate, you will be immovable.
Hope I didn't miss anything, otherwise other people will fill in the blanks. These are my main tips and I absolutely love playing her.
Good luck!
Once you hear his fury and see that he's let's say 60 degrees (or below) on you, stick to the walls and wait for him to go around 10 feet away from you. Cast Impasse (Wall) near you and the wall, but make a small opening/space between the map's wall and your wall for you to go through. Trust on your instincts and juke his ult. He'll less likely go to the small opening that you've made, so going to that path has high chances of survival.
When you're in the open or when he's above 60 degrees on your perspective, just cast the wall anytime and hug it while going to its other side. Hope to luck that he went above the wall or to the opposite path that you went. Those angles and distances are just an estimation to easily demonstrate the situation. You just gotta feel it while you're in-game. She's very annoying to kill, really!
Lastly, during Drogoz ult, MOVE. Change your position while doing the ones above. He (most of the time) doesn't know where you would go and assume that you're at the same spot where he last saw you. Make that lizard think while he's on pressure on wasting his ult. I've dodged so many Drogoz ults as her and it's kinda hard to pull that off on most frontliners.
Also, don't waste your left clicks on enemies that are about a hundred feet away from you (most of the time, Kinessas and Sha Lins) because firing slows down your movement speed for so much. Maybe one fire for every ten seconds would do while playing the objective and protecting yourself (and probably your team).
