I'm curious, did Hi-Rez just go and kidnap Borderlands and Dragonball Z's voice actors and make them voice the characters for this game?

I mean come on, Grover is voiced by the guy who does Vegeta, Buck and Drogoz are from the ones who do Mr Satan / Hercule and Mister Torgue

Fernando is Sir Hammerlock and from Dragonball Z Kai

Barik is Shasami from Dragonball Super

Janos is yet again from Dragonball Z Kai, as well as One Piece and Fairy Tail.

Torvald, yet again from Dragonball Z Kai One Piece and Full Metal Alchemist.'

And many more examples like this. At least 50% of this games male voice actors are from Dragonball Z and Borderlands.

Well, those people work as voice actors, of course you can find them voice acting in lots of cartoons and games.

Yes, but I get the feeling that they just waltzed right into the dubbing studio to Dragonball with a rag and some chloroform.

Well the way the voice industry works is agents look out for postings, actors with experience in shouting or active characters are very likely to be offered an audition for a game where characters often yell.

In addition dragon ball z and borderlands are large franchises if you look at the actors history they have likely also done smaller works.

Im more amazed at how many are from those two games. Like in one clean sweep.

I can actually picture a shady employee from hi-rez going to their studios and just kidnapping them out of the staff lounge. Waiting for them to go and pour them self a cup of coffee and *wham* wakes up in Hi-Rez's recording booth with shackles.

This is what I choose to believe.

Grover = Vegeta. Mal' Damba can't even break 1000 on the epic scale while Grover literally breaks the limit to over 9000

I know the Vegeta voice actor guy has been doing work for Hi REz for a while. He was a voice actor in Trbes AScend their other game.
