+1, you can totally already do that in this game.
16:9 & 16:10 portrait are okay but I haven't tested an ultrawide.
No, FX3 seems to not support portrait natively without windowed or external tools.
Just checking - you know we’re talking about physically rotating our monitors 90 degrees?
Does your display have an auto-rotate / gyro function which changes the desktop orientation?
For example If I rotate my laptop 90 degrees the desktop switches to portrait, if I then launch FX3 it honours the current orientation - no cab code necessary.

No I have a normal ultra wide desktop monitor. Although saying that - these days, some may well have that feature you mention. I have a Surface Pro that does that.
