"Essential" DLC?
I know the DLC are not actually "essential" to enjoy this game, but if you need to pick just one, which one you recommend to buy?

I mean, is there a DLC that add some great weapon over the basic game weapons?

Or some content that is completely recommended?

I'm very new to this game and I'm enjoying it a lot.
Thank yoy guys!

*EDIT:

Thank you all for the answers, they have been very informative for a new player like me.

So, I guess I'm gonna buy the Siptah one when at a good discount, now I don't need more map, I have all the game base to explore and enjoy.

And maybe one of the other DLC with good clothes&armor skins...

Thank you all again!!

With the exception of the Isle of Siptah, all the DLC's give you is a variation on armours/weapons and additional building pieces. None of the DLC weapons/armour are greater/better than what you get in the vanilla game. Everything is just cosmetic.

The Isle of Siptah is a different map, completely separate from the Exiled Lands. You can play either map with the saves in one game not affecting the saves in the other, but you can't travel between the two. They are basically two separate games.

correct from the view of a vanilla game. there are mods that will allow that and servers offering this.
Whichever you decide, do NOT purchase the 'Riddle of Steel' DLC unless the last option (ie, you are being a completionist) as its just a homage to the Arnold Schwarzenegger Conan movies (statues, armors etc).

And, what the 'poster' above did not explain about the 'bazaar' is that the complete set DLC prices there are double to quadruple the price of the old school (Steam) DLCs.
There is a character transfer functionality between the Exiled Lands and Isle of Siptah, not for servers but it can be done for single-player / maybe coop.

Isle of siptah. Adds a new dedicated map and is much easier to play imho.

The "transfer" is actually a copy. E. g. you won't loose the character on exiled lands.

Question: Do you need Isles of Siptah to learn Sorcery, or is that just an expansion that came with it?

it's in cave , near river , after killing some sorcerers you will get map to it.
and no , it's part of free update.

Thanks.

And yeah, I knew about the cave; just wasn't sure if the DLC was required.
