No DLC adds level 78 stuff. Max level for the base game is 60. Cannot level past 60 without mods so the DLCs would be useless on Official servers if they had above 60 stuff in them.
Then either supply more info or F off.
Anything that requires a level past 60 is absolutely from a mod, as the leveling cap is 60. No DLCs change that cap.
The only way to achieve level 61+ without modding is through the admin/console controls.
It was not a bug. It was someone using the admin panel to adjust your level.
I do not understand why everyone in this thread is completely ignoring the answer.
What you're describing doesn't happen as a bug. You -cannot- gain level 61 by exp alone. The game does not have a defined parameter for the amount of exp needed to be level 61. The only way to achieve level 61 is via that +1 level button. It is impossible to achieve a variable that is not defined by the coding. A bug does not simply write coding for the game.
You have played the game for a few hours, encountered one oddity and asked about it. You were annoyed that people were saying it was a mod despite you saying there were no mods involved, and asking for an reasonable answer.
The one reasonable answer you took and gobbled up is "The game must be riddled with bugs there's no other explaination.
How would you know how buggy or not the game is only after a couple of hours, and why would you be so offended by an actual pheasible answer to your question, completely igoring it altogether except to assault?
Someone messed with the admin panel, despite you believing it or not.
I don't know your friends, but usually neither do friends know eachother as much as they think they do. Even the most honest people you trust are susceptible to toying around with things like that. I do not mean to berrate you or your friends, or say what people will or will not do, but given your aggressive attitude towards an actual tangible fully explainable answer to how this can happen with neither mods nor bugs, I would not be terribly surprised if the people you hang out with would toy with something like this.
You have your answer as to how this can occur within the game's operations. Whether you believe that is what happened or not is entirely up to you though.
I apologize for coming across as "This is this and that's that". What i've given is an explaination as how this can occur, and if this happened from a weird glitch, then i'm open to that simply being what happened, but this is a very odd occurance that is not something that has been often reported like the bugs you mentioned above. When trying to figure out why something happened, it should always be looked at first as to "But can this have happened for another reason". If all possible intended possibilities can be ruled out, then you start looking towards "bug". To do leap on a bug before knowing what is and is not possible is accepting ignorance.
