i hope. as someone who jsut purchased it its very triggering... also why is there no short sword? i mean samurais would carry 3 swords, 3 lengths, dagger, short sword and long sword. seems odd the devs would decide to not make a wakizashi or Tanto ?

They do have the "Assassin's blade" (inappropriately titled Ninjato) which is a "short sword", though when the DLCs were made, the short-sword weapon type did not exist, so it's just a one-handed sword.
Considering what they did with the riders of hyborea and all the faction saddles being added to that DLC rather than the respective faction dlcs, it seems pretty clear they are not interested in changing the contents of already released DLC. Which is why that assassins blade is still a strength weapon with the one-handed sword weapon type, rather than agility with the better suited short-sword animation. Tragic.
Aside from that, the yamatai dlc already has more weapon skins than the other DLCs, I guess the katana being an entirely new weapon type introduced, they wanted to add several varients to it, so it wasn't just this "one single thing", but couldn't add various tiers like normal weapons, as that would violate the intended DLC layout. Likewise, there are far too many japanese weapons, so I figure they just focused on the "most known" surface weapons. Everyone knows what a Katana is. Not as many people know what a wakazashi or tanto is, so not as much a priority I guess.
But.. regardless of content changes/additions, they should still fix these bugs...
There's another DLC pair of pants that actually has large slits going down the legs that add an alpha to your legs rather than just being tranparent like I'm assuming they're supposed to be. GIves you large windows all the way down the sides of your legs. It's the poitan pants, and that one's been around for a long time aswell... Unsure if it does the same on male models though.
I think it's just, they're too busy with more major bugs, making new content ect.
But at the same time, this is one of their paid DLCs, modders said it's a super easy fix, but DLC items are locked so they can't fix it either.
Like can i sue them for it?
The armor has been bugged in the past, but then it got fixed in one of the next patch updates. It also hasn't been bugged for one year, or even two. People are finding old bug reports on the forums and, for some reason, assuming it never got fixed. I pay attention to this armor as it's one of my favorite armors to use.
I was using the Yamatai heavy armor two weeks before the 3.0 update and it was working just fine. Then the 3.0 update was released and it became bugged again. It is annoying, but it happens.
Yes, but only if the armor actually exists.
Illusioning a bugged yamatai chestplate onto a bugged yamatai chestplate will still give you a bugged yamatai chestplate. So yes, still relavent.
I might buy a plane ticket to their dev studio in norway? and stand outside reeeeing till they fix it.
