i got this game with the promise that wizards would be a thing 1 day but so far that looks like a load of crap. but i was just looking at different armors and i saw that there is WIZARD ARMOR??? so theres wizard armor but no wizards wtf??

What kind of wizard? If you want to farm mods by casting magic spells at them, you can look into some of the fantasy mods such as Age of Calamitous and Endgame Extended Weapon Arsenal. There are a lot of private servers running those two:

This isn't a high fantasy game. You're never going to get the ability to fire fireballs from your hands in the vanilla game if that's what you are looking for.

u could be a wizard in the last conan game from the same devs so why not?
plus the devs said straight from there own stupid mouths that u could be a wizard more then once back when the game launched. they also said to be a more powerful wizard u had to get corrupted or something.
it was in there damn live streams and im still waiting for them to add it.
if i knew they never were going to then i wouldnt have got this game.
i guess ill try that Age of Calamitous mod then.

You are referring to Sorcery, not a High Fantasy, World of Warcraft "wizard." Sorcery may find its way to Conan Exiles someday in a lore friendly way, but high fantasy wizadry never will. They have been a lot more strict about staying within the lore then Age of Conan.

As for the status of Sorcery, it's on permanent hiatus for two years now, and there is no news if or when it's coming. They plan on developing Conan for some time, so who knows. With that said, if you want a High Fantasy game with elves and wizards, your best bet is to look at a different game, or look at mods.

back at launch i was in the chat of 1 of the live streams and i asked the devs will we see magic like in age of conan and they said YES and that was the reason i decided to buy this. if they said no then i wouldnt own this game.

yeah wasn't there a post from the devs with mounts and magic theme. we have mounts now. theres reanimated skeletons but apparently fireballs is where some of you draw the line of what should be in the game

My Fist of Essence mod was inspired by the book Wheel of Time.
My whole server is focused on large scale wars hurling fireballs, ice blast, poison gas and undead summons at foes. Here is some of what Fist of Essence includes:

A fiery fist that you load all spells into
Meteor Blasts
Poison Gas Clouds
Corruption Rocks
Impenetrable Wall Projectiles
Magic Missles
Flame Blasts
Flying Morph Spells
Warlock Guards (Turrets for Offline Protection)
