Stupidly Difficult...

First off I just want to rant about how stupidly difficult it is to find a Tier 4 or Purge-level priest for Derketo. They only spawn in 3 (really 2) spots on the whole map that are right next to each other, the purge-level priests spawn in two different purge events that almost never happen, even though I'm set up right outside their base. And even when they do occur, there's only a *slight* chance one will even appear (don't get me started on the fact that they don't where the Derketo outfits, but whatever I guess). According to Steam, I'm on hour 141 of trying to find one (or even an archpriest at this point) with no luck. I've cranked down the spawn rate to 0.1 (the lowest it will go) and changed the settings so I'm getting purged constantly, and so far nothing. I get that they're supposed to be rare and all, but considering the fact that I've captured 4 purge priests for religions I haven't even unlocked, (and killed about a dozen more of each) all in the process of trying to find ONE Derketo priest, it's getting ridiculous. Who ever thought that was a good idea is an idiot.

That being said, since I'm playing single player, are there any admin/console commands to spawn specific npcs? I don't even care that it's cheating at this point, I tried doing it legitimately all last week, and cheesing all this week. I give up. Failing that are there any mods that make easier to find one without being too cheaty?

Type makemeadmin in the console then esc>admin settings, there should be a cheat menu. There's an NPC spawning menu on the right, go hard dude.

Well, you can do the admin thing. But, if you want to keep it above the cheese, maybe make a little hovel on the eastern beach, near the Lemurian main base with a wheel and farm the base.

A named Derketo priest is hard to come by, but not impossible. A little more common is the Arch Priest, which is a T3 and can do almost everything a T4 can, with just a few exceptions. I've run into them at the Lemurian base more than a couple times. The priests are usually at the bonfire on the separate rock rise to the immediate left of the main building. Also, while farming that base you will have a good probability to run across T4 Armorers, Alchemist, Carpenter, Cook, Tanner and Entertainer. Not sure about Blacksmith though.

Ended up going with the admin menu, not happy I had to though. As for what you suggested: that's exactly what I did. Two weeks ago. I turned up nothing, even after cranking the spawn rate up to almost instant earlier this week. I've got a large box full of Tier 4/purge thralls, none of which ended up being a Derketo Priest.

Or if that's not aggressive enough, use the 100% version. You can find Tier 4 Derketo Priests on the map, they spawn near where you can learn the religion from the NPC.
