Khitan items removed after update?

I know it's really not a big deal, because most of the DLC is cosmetic, but I feel ripped off. Not in the "game doesnt work the way it shouldl" kind of way, but actually ripped off in the paid for something, got it, and then it was taken away...

Here's the thing, I like to build. So I purchaed the DLC Khitan "Jewls of the East" pack when it first came out. I liked it, had some cool new visual stuff, I was happy and satisfied with my purchase. So Jewl of the West comes out, I buy that too. And now Fronteer pack comes out, and you guessed it, I purcased that as well.

What i didnt realize was that with each purchase (cost the same) i was getting less and less, and Funcom was taking working "cosmetic" items out of the game. I was like wait a second, this cant be right, items I purchased are being removed from the game? For instance, with the DLC for Khitan It had Khitan flags, 2 cool jade statues (a cat and a dragon) and other items that are now missing? WTF? I have the dragon but where is my cat? Where did my cool red battle banner flags go?

Then i look at the Aquilonian DLC... hey... i actually got less here than i expected.... Where is a gool aquilonian banner or tapestry? Furniture? WTF???? where is the stuff i need to build. SO now i'm getting concerned. Then i open and down load my shiney new Fronteer purchase... WTF? Nothing? Just some skinned blocks and some pet skins, and the standard armor skins?

I mean I guess if you spend $9.99 for the Jewl of the East... then you spend $9.99 for the Jewl of the West and get less (and worse they take stuff out of the game that you got orignally), shame on Funcom. Then to spend $9.99 for the Fronteer pack and get even less..... well then its shame on me.

Said another way, Funcom, either make it right (give us all of the cool stuff we should get, and dont remove stuff) or give us our money back. Frankly, i'd prefer to get what i paid for. I know its $30.00 and not the end of the world, but given I've supported Conan since day 1 (way back when the desert was the only map), for you guys to take content away... I mean come on.

And another thing, while i'm on my soap box.... where the hell did all the T3 crafting thralls go? No i'm not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about the named thralls, but the ones in Set City (yep that's how long i've been playing, still use that because when i started the fancy Sepermeru, City of the Relic Hunters name didnt exist) are gone?? You guys trying to make it no fun? Want us to grind even more than normal?

Take my ♥♥♥♥ and make me grind more.... Great idea to keep a customer happy.

True the frontier set doesn't have any cosmetic RP items (bummer) but I know for sure all the cosmetic stuff from the other two sets is still available to me.

Yeah, in fact I just put the flag on a wall yesterday. I can double check the station later though to be sure.

Yep, nothing is missing here. I got all the stuff from before and have all the DLC, something is up with your game. Do you have any mods? Particularly, ones that involve crafting or placeables?

That's what I was thinking, just not able to get on the game right now to confirm content.

They are still there. I just spent the past week staring at the Spawn Data Tables, they are definetly there.

To everything else, this sounds most definetly to be mod related. If you are running mods, especially older ones, that do not use a mod controller but instead direct edit the itemtables or feattables, the result is you missing stuff as you see now.

Nope, no mods pure Conan. And to be clear, i'm not talking about the Khitan "Banner" but the flag. Likewise, clearly the Jade Cat used to exist, but maybe i'm not looking it up correctly. I'll try again.

I hope I'm wrong about them taking stuff out of the game. Seriously, really hope I'm wrong. But given the number of hours i've got in Conan, and how long i've been playing (since launch... not release but alpha launch), I'm disappointed to see minor things that make playing enjoyable, disappear.

I guess I expected more out of the Jewls of The West and Fronteer DLC's. Kind of hoped they would at least be as good as the Jewls of the East DLC. Dont get me wrong, I like Jewls of the West, just wish they would have added a bit more decoraive stuff. The Fronteer DLC is hard to defend as being worth $10... But hopefully they will read this, and make things right.

On the T3 spawns... Still scratching my head there. Hard enough to get started, even harder if you have to keep spam killing thralls to get a T3 to spawn. For example, there used to be dedicated T3 Blacksmith, Tanner, and Smelter in Set City. Now... well, you can grind for hours and not see one. I guess what i'm getting at, is they used to be automatic. Now, even in a low level area, but meaningful one, no regular T3 Spawns.

There is a dragon jade statue (which you said was missing in your first post), I didn't look for everything else. I just opened the admin panel and there it was under buildings. This is the part though that I wish the DLC's were viewable in the dev kit so I could verify if something isn't being added right or something, but I can't. I highly doubt that if there is something missing, it was intentional. But if you really can't find something, I would post a bug report on the official forums on what it is you are missing.

Sounds like a bug to me, I can still make ALL of the decorative and building stuff from the DLCs I have. Wich is Khitan and Frontier

Damn, son. I've done this before.. got mad, thought for sure I was screwed hard over on something I bought, posted an angry message then found out I was the one with the problem.

Just had a thought. The stuff you are talking about is on the Artisans workbench. If you build a Khitan Artisans bench you get access to the exclusive Khitan stuff, just as you would get access to the Aquilonian stuff on the Aquilonian Artisans bench. I dont have access to the game from this PC, but I am pretty sure you cant build the special Khitan Artisan stuff on a regular Artisan table or an Aquilonian Artisans table and vice versa. So, perhaps you are trying to access the DLC stuff on the wrong Artisans workbench?

As to the T3 thrall spawn thing, if memory serves correct, I have run into T3 NPCs, maybe it is just the luck of the draw that you havent seen one since then? While looking for T4 NPCs, I settled for a couple of T3 in the meantime. Been looking for a T4 cook ( I want my own personal chef) and T4 armorer, so my travels in that respect have been pretty extensive.
