I personally can't stand mainstream names like Lagertha. Reminds me a bit of "Gandalf", "Legolas" etc. You always found "xXxGandalfxXx" or "Legolassss" in different MMO's and stuff. People should be more original with their naming :-p

Doubt the name will be tied to limitations, you all can call yourself conan or sonja pretty much if you like to. But scandinavian names most likley be the hot topic.

I am usually a little more uncreative in my naming choice for online characters, I find the names of ancient gods and godesses work well, provided somebody else hasn't taken them first. Norse for Nordheimer characters (though they kind of fit the barbaric theme for almost any races) Greek for the Hyborians.
