Having resource gathering as it is endure that everyone doesn't have t3 bases covering half the map.
Yes better ,Thralls do the work , you do the exploring.
Just shows that ARK didn't do everything wrong and evolved nicely. Still there are plenty of mods for ARK to change a few aspects of the game. I guess it will be similar here.
Meanwhile we get our bark from the nice peasants in the next village.... they are reluctant to share, but we use persuasion to get what we want (longswords help here).
Running around and only harvesting those small thin trees with an Axe = 100's of fiber bundles in no time at all.
Trying to do the same, collecting it by hand in bushes = a waste of time ; unless you wanted insects to put in your clan mates gruel ... or bed.

The next question are ridable Thralls?
Only bark is a real Problem....
