The true antagonist is the idiotic community that encourages cheating because "it's PvE"
No doubt there will always be cheaters in games and those seeking ways to exploit. Valve kind of enticed this though. People farm MvM for aussies and some for the coveted pan. I know, I know "it's not profitable". Even profit aside, some people just want to own all the stuff because it makes them feel good or have some kind of sense of false superiority when in reality it's a video game and doesn't matter in real life. Aussie chance is anywhere between an estimated 2.5% to 5.0%. If we assume that spread is accurate, 3 bots plus a player increased that spread. I'm no mathematician though.
Very good investment, yes?
P.S. lmfao at 2.5-5%
Yea, dozens of people have already used completed tour history to compute an approximate percentage chance of aussie drops, even down to the chance for Pan and some other specific aussie's. It seems with the exception of the pan, the eyelander is the most rare to come by.
Without a doubt the gold pan is a reduced drop chance considering there is only like 20 in all backpacks. People sell those things for like $5000.
As for the other weapons, perhaps the drop chance is the same for all, however at the end of the day its RNG. You could get an aussie first tour and not a single one until 200 tours. It just so happens that statistically based on all known aussies in public backpacks and trade history that the eyelander seems to be slightly more rare than the others.
