All the medic Primaries are good and I don't see any of them obsolete compared to other classes' primary unlock/drops.
A medic that doesn't stay alive much is a medic that's useless. The Blutsauger directly enforces a medic go to combat medic which reduces their healing potential and thus their uber potential. And damage from the blut is rarely ever counteracted by the health from hits due to the weakness within all needle guns. Basically, the blut is like the Machina, it encourages bad behavior that leads to poor skills. I know I die a heck of a lot less now that I switched to the Overdose.
I do see a factor being played with sniper's weapons and medic's weapons
Over-Dose is like the Bazaar Bargin/Sydney Sleeper, where the Bluttsauger is the Machina/Huntsman.
Huntsman does not encourage aiming, while machina is a huge delay.
Syringe gun for general use.

Between Blut and stock, stock all the way. Blut isn't going to be very helpful when you've just been hit by a long-range fire or bleed attack and could use the regen, for instance, and it's not going to be terribly reliable at saving you even close up.
Crusader crossbow's new projectiles are bad D:
I love using a crusaders crossbow for annoying those snoipahs, and healing my teammates.
Somehow the crossbow heals faster than the medigun for me :l
