what does ref mean ? ^^
2. Go to the Crafting tab.
3. Go to the Rare tab.
4. Select whichever recipe you want.
5. Fill in the ingredients (metal, other craft hats, etc.)
6. Click "Craft".
7. Adore your newly-crafted hat or something.
2) Get 3 refined metal, by crafting your weapon drops or by trading for it.
3) Select "Fabricate Headgear" from the crafting menu.
4) Add your 3 refined to the recipe.
5) Craft cosmetic.
Alternately or continuing on; obtained two cosmetics select "Rebuild Headgear" from the crafting menu and add the two cosmetics to the recipe to craft a cosmetic.
Rebuild Headgear is a good option as you can trade for craft hats for like 1.22 ref. as opposed to the 3 ref. needed to craft one in the first place, thereby reducing the cost from 3 ref. to 2.44 ref.
Also it means you can continue to craft via recycling if the cosmetic you craft isn't something you care for.
Seriously ? I created that thread in year 2014..
