Contrary to Game Theory, one of the worst channels on YouTube in my opinion (which obviously is more important than yours), baggy asbestos firesuits and schizophrenia do NOT make you homosexual. The pyro is most likely a male human, and possibly used to work at a fire related job, which explains the suit. He is also very intelligent, as he constructed his own flame thrower, and weapons. He may have been a scientist, or an engineer. He's voiced by the Spy. Elaborate in the comments.

Except the OP is basing his theory on the Pyro's character design, and less on inferring from Pyroland.

yeah but matpat says its just a theory at the end of the episode. calling his channel stupid reflects poorly on the OP. it seems the idea of the pyro being homosexual even in theory makes him upset. the truth is the pyros identity/gender/sexual preferance/orgin of weapons/mental stability is all untold and left to the player to decide. some say pyro is abraham lincon, others say a lightbulb, none of theses ideas are a better then another, all im saying is insulting a well liked youtube celeb and comeing off as a homophobe isnt going to win any hearts. what the OP based his theory on dosnt make it better.

The theory is completely based on conjecture, therefore calling it a bad theory is perfectly valid. Just because it's a theory doesn't mean it can't be a flawed one.

The theory the OP is proposing is based on actually analyzing what the Pyro is: an axe-crazed maniac who is clearly hallucinating from being baked alive inside a bulky fire-proof suit.

Not silly things like a cartoon character's glove shape (not even his hand!), or that there's a purse in a locker room and it just happens to be near an unused gas mask.

matpat covers all of that as well. have you seen the episode? the only thing the OP added was that pyro made his own weapons and is NOT homosexual. what this thread comes down to is "is pyro gay?" also thats the scouts moms purse.

...in all seriousness, Valve's always teased and toyed with the mystery of the Pyro's gender and identity, whenever it seems like they give one strong hint on one end, they almost immediately counter it with a hint towards the other end. I think Valve just wants the fans to view Pyro as whatever they see it fit as.
