I've found a saxxy on a Valve server (months ago), is that a special finding, rare thing?

The person who holds these Saxxys are brilliant YouTubers that made awesome SFM movies (or replays) for the Saxxy Awards

Either git gud in SFM or just buy the Golden Pan instead

the saxxy can only be obtained from entering in a once a year saxxy awards ceremony where people vote for whether your video is good or not

so its more a popularity contest than how good they are or not
not to say they arent good but you can have 3 equally good video finalists for the last slot and the one with the more votes will win

I may be wrong but didn't the votes only determine finalists with Valve choosing the final winner from those? Or am I mistaken?
