Ah I don't think backwards works in TF2. They kinda nerfed all the good stuff from the older Source games like Portal and Half-Life.
Yeah. It feels weird making maps for it because it has such a changed and evolved version of Source.

Yeah, that was all patched out of TF2 back in '07, although airstrafing is still in the game. It's a big part of advanced rocketjumping and demojumping, but movement speed is still capped at 525 Hammer units.
