Is it possible to perform the ABH / ASH / AFH In TF2?
Or does Tf2's source engine not work in a way that that is possible, like in portal or Gmod for instance?

lol, you really think I'm expecting a trick from a completely different engine to work in tf2? I'm talking about Source

Not really. You can't b-hop but you can pretend to b-hop by jumping as you land.
You never accelerate though.

Not talking about standard Forward Bunny hop. That was removed from source completely ages ago, but at the same time ABH was added.

Should be around the 0:30 mark

You cannot FBH in Source at all anymore. I did not ask about forward bunny hop.

Ah I don't think backwards works in TF2. They kinda nerfed all the good stuff from the older Source games like Portal and Half-Life.

What did I expect. It's a shame really, tf2 has a weird Source Engine.

Yeah. It feels weird making maps for it because it has such a changed and evolved version of Source.

I suppose things like this were removed bc Spy and the like would be godlike at flanking with it.

Yeah I imagine a scout using ABH AND the fully charged baby faces blaster. It'd be a nightmare.

Yeah, that was all patched out of TF2 back in '07, although airstrafing is still in the game. It's a big part of advanced rocketjumping and demojumping, but movement speed is still capped at 525 Hammer units.

It works, although like Portal 2. You can jump as soon as you land which will gain you some speed although not notably like Portal 1 or HL2. This video will show you how to do it in Portal 2, although it's the same in TF2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JX3_KxTXkr4

Read the date.
By the way, I haven't mastered it and currently, I have 275 hours in this game... The point is it's pretty hard in a game that you're supposed to chill and not shoot people and I don't think you can master it in a game that you have to shoot people unless you really want to be unfair towards other people xD
