How to enable 3th Person on tf2?

I have been watching some tf2 gameplays on youtube and i have seen a guy playing like that but there is nothing about that in the game options!! any idea?

go to the console and type thirdperson.
you might need sv_cheats on, however.

The server either requires sv_cheats on (highly unlikely because anyone can simply crash the server) or it has a plugin.
Otherwise it is impossible.

Sv_cheats 1 can only be done by the server operator so therefore no one has access to it.

You can't do it on public servers, I know. But as long as sv_cheats are on you can activate third person.
OR just go on training mode. It allows sv_cheats to be changed so you can use cheats offline.

Aaaaand that is the point.
OP is talking about 3rd person in servers. I am talking about 3rd person in servers.
YOU are talking about 3rd person offline, which is not what OP wants.

Point is, if you want third person, just make your own server so that you get console commands.

I know this is super old. but in medieval mode you type tf_medieval_thirdperson 1
Don't know the command for third person outside of medieval tho
