[IMPORTANT] Can't Click any Button on the Main Menu

Whenever I launch TF2 through Steam, it opens normally. When I get to the homepage, I cannot click any buttons. What I mean is, that when I hover my mouse over the button it doesn't highlight it. I try clicking it, nothing. The game doesn't see my mouse for some reason. Can anyone help resolve this problem? I've tried looking it up on the Internet and all I got was random crap. I'd appreciate it if you would help!

I use a MacBook Pro for anyone who is wondering what OS I use.

Verify the integrity of game cache? Solves most problems. If that doesn't work, might be due to running programs.

Verified many times
Still no clicking...

And running programs? Should I force quit everything?

So how do I completely remove TF2 history from my profile? Because removing local game content will only remove the game, not the stats. I want it all gone since I cannot play it. Any way how to execute this?

Try pasting this into your console:

m_rawinput 1

Ugh! When I type it in the console, it does not say anything after it! I guess I might have to get a different computer... or Steam account (I can't really because of the other games I own)... Ah well, I guess I should just get Team Fortress Classic or wait for another good response telling me what to do in this case...
Anyway, going back to the question: I need a default Team Fortress 2 folder. Someone send me one.

To get a default TF2 folder delete yours, then start up TF2. And why would you need a new Steam account? It has to do with TF2, not Steam.

Did what you said, and Steam said this:

failed to start game (missing executable).

Don't know what to do at this point, only option is to somehow get TF2 off my profile forever.

Actually, you know what? The first thing I actually wanted to get rid of was my data. Then this tragedy happened. But, I have a PC so I can play TF2 on there.

So now, I just want to solve the data problem.
